Enrolment options

This course aims to develop student’s understanding of the structure, functions and processes of hospitality organizations and the role of the Hotel Manager.  It equips the students with knowledge on the nature and context of production and operations management,  design of tourism and hospitality services, specifying quality for tourism and hospitality, total quality management,  ISO 9000, building and sustaining quality and performance excellence as they apply in tourism and  hospitality context. It connects the output of the operational departments with the various management functions of hospitality organizations. 

Industry/ site visit to hotels and other sectors in the service industry is deemed necessary during which students receive a guided tour of all departments.
