This
course educates students about the concepts and principles applied in the
design, implementation, and evaluation of computer systems, applications, and
related products that are used by people. It aims to enable them to utilize
such theories and standards to promote quality human-computer interaction. Focuses
are on the understanding of human behavior towards interactive objects, use of
human-centered approach in the development and assessment of a software or
related product, and HCI design issues as regards different types of
interactive applications. Towards the end of this course, students shall assess
target user population, evaluate product prototype, and document such
