This course tackles the disciplined process of producing prime business information systems. It emphasizes the role of the systems analyst in an ever-changing business environment as he/she leads the creation of information systems. Through this course, we aim to equip the students with the knowledge and skill to convert business requirements into information systems that support the organization’s goals and objectives. The topics have been divided into three chunks, i.e., systems planning, systems analysis, and systems design.
In the last three weeks of the semester, the students are expected to present a simplified systems development project proposal.
