Rizal course is a mandated subject by Republic act 1425. This course covers the life, works and ideals of
the country’s national hero, Jose Rizal. Its aim is to provide students an
in-depth appreciation of Rizal’s contribution to the building of Filipino
nationhood. The course involves critical and analytical discussion of Rizal in
the context of Philippine history.
